This recording was made on September 13 and 14, 2018. The location was a room above the Silver Dollar Saloon in Butte, Montana. Just outside the widows are the Continental Divide of the Highland Mountains and Our Lady of the Rockies, a 90 foot tall statue of the Virgin Mary. A historic mining town, Butte also hosts the Covellite International Film Festival, which invited Walter to come perform.

The image of the Virgin Mary seemed to follow us on our trip. After a few sightings we realized the album from Butte should be named in tribute to her. Walter and I even wrote a song entitled “Virgin on the Mountain” that is as of yet unreleased.

This album is his second official release, and is Volume 2 of his “Mountain Series” on Blue Lotus Records.
